Dolce Gusto Piccolo

Currently probably the most popular model, mainly because of the price. Piccolo can be purchased from € 36 with VAT. The Piccolo coffee machine is very simple to use and to operate.

It comes with 2 functions: hot and cold water. Nothing more, but what more would we need, especially at such a price :-).

The coffee machine has a pressure of 15 bar, a water tank capacity of 0.6 liters. It is a really small coffee machine, suitable for a smaller kitchen or office. Due to its size, it is possible to adjust the height of the cup, which pleases any hot chocolate or frappe lover. A smaller water tank can be a minus if you have a coffee machine in your office (without a sink) and want to enjoy coffee more often. The coffee machine also lacks the water dispenser function.

Pros price, compactness.

Cons: smaller water tank, no option of water dose setting.

Dolce Gusto Genio

Design similar to the Piccolo model, functionally more advanced. The Dolce Gusto Genio coffee machine offers an interesting feature, a water dispenser. On the original capsules, the producer indicates the amount of water required to prepare the beverage in designated strips. These strips can be adjusted on the Genio. The Genio will only let the selected amount of water into the cup.

The second difference is the size of the tank, which is 1l, which again contributed to a slightly larger size.

The water dosing function has made the coffee machine quite expensive. You can buy a Genio coffee machine for around 100 €. It is therefore up to you whether you need water dosing.

Dolce Gusto Melody

Like Genio, the Melody coffee machine offers an automatic water dispenser and a larger 1.3-liter tank.

Melody coffee machine is available for around 70 €.

Dolce Gusto Circolo

An older model that is quite difficult to find as its production has been stopped. The coffee machine offers almost the same features as the Piccolo. The difference is in the shape. As the name suggests, the device has an oval shape. There is also a difference in the capacity of the water tank. The Circolo coffee machine offers an amount of water of 1.3 liters. The water dosing function is missing.

Dolce Gusto Creativa

Also, an older model, which is usually no longer available to buy. This model offered perhaps the most extensive variety of features. The Creativa coffee machine has a color display, through which it is possible to set the dosing of water for individual types of beverages with the option of memory storage. Also, the display can synchronize the lack of water in the tank. Tank capacity 1.5l. Pressure the same as other models, 15 bar.
